I recently was listening to the podcast “In the Loop with Andy Andrews” (which I highly recommend), and Andy posed something interesting. He asked that if you could have a five minute conversation with your 18 year old self, what would you say to yourself?
Interesting thought. And…as I think about it, five minutes wouldn’t be enough for me. You are probably thinking the same thing. I would want more time with my younger self.
So, let’s ponder something together and I would love to hear your answers. Please comment below or if you prefer it to be more private, then feel free to leave me a message on the contact form at the bottom of the page on my website www.MarkBowser.com.
Alright, here we go…If you were given the opportunity to time travel back in time to spend 30 minutes with your 18 year old self, what would you say to yourself? What insights would you give? Are there any warnings that you would share? Would you share any hopes and dreams with yourself? Would you try to guide yourself on certain paths to avoid the pains you have endured or has the rough patches made you stronger? What would you tell yourself about success that you know now that you didn’t know then?
Lots of questions…but you probably have a lot to discuss with yourself.
